The Tea Party was always, and only, a corporation/billionaire funded rebranding effort for the GOP—a clever way to gull people into thinking that George Bush's GOP is somehow different from John Boehner's. It worked and the media made it happen.

I was telling my daughter about the periodic 'religious revivals' that sweep the country. As things get crazier and scarier...that's what I predict.
